Press release: Alza.cz innovates its own transport service AlzaExpres, which is now expanding to other cities of Central Bohemia (eg Kutna Hora, Mlada Boleslav, Beroun, Benesov, Rokycany, etc.). In Slovakia, AlzaExpres will start shipping the entire Bratislava region (including Pezinok and Senec) and Hungary in Budapest. With this own service, the company guarantees the adherence to delivery deadlines and newly also offers so-called comfortable delivery directly in the locations, thanks to which customers do not have to worry about yield, basic installation or removal of old appliances for oversized goods.
Alza is preparing for the season really honestly. He wants to bring shoppers the best customer experience on the most important holidays of the year – and has prepared a massive expansion of Alza Expres 2.0's reliable, fast and comfortable road transport. Thanks to massive recruitment, the service has recently expanded to three other regions within three countries.
“AlzaExpres has been traveling around Prague and its surroundings for 5 years. Innovations were intensively planned since spring. Since October, about 150 drivers have been recruited – even to regions. Owing to our core employees and newly purchased vehicles, internal processes will be optimized and shipments can be tracked on-line from release from warehouse to handover to the buyer, which required considerable programming, ”said Tomáš Anděl, Strategic Operations Director. This gives the company a clear and quick overview of where the packages are, and if necessary, can respond more quickly to customer suggestions and provide more accurate information.
A total of 45 Mercedes Benz Sprinter trucks with box bodies were purchased for a massive expansion of the transport. Thanks to the drivers' shift regime, they will also deliver tens of thousands of orders from various warehouses to regions. The service is available 7 days a week. Delivery prices range from CZK 89 to 599 (depending on package size and place of delivery).
The same-day-delivery service will be launched throughout the Central Bohemia Region on the day of ordering. Customers are also actively helping the company to identify other regions and cities where AlzaExpres would like a comfortable delivery.
Thanks to all the steps being prepared, Alza can motivate its own employees better and directly for the speed and quality of delivery, but will be evaluated by the customers themselves. Thanks to their own vehicles, the entire collection, logistics and last mile process has been significantly expanded and simplified overall. The company wants to guarantee not only delivery dates, but also a higher quality of service and for maximum customer satisfaction. As a result, couriers will take the appliance to the place of use, unpack it, carry out the basic installation, clean up the packaging material and, if necessary, take away the old appliance.
In connection with the transport, the company again opens the theme of packaging recycling, where the packaging from the customer on site in case of their interest takes over so that the buyer does not deal with the large waste of packaging material. This is then recycled in the packaging of other products to be transported.
In the future, the company would like to pledge its entire sales network, including the newly expanded AlzaBox network.
