Apple has just released iOS 14 to the public

After three months of intensive beta testing of the new iOS 14 system, Apple finally released it to the general public a few seconds ago. The new Apple operating system brings some really nice innovations, led by widgets, an application library or a redesigned answering of incoming calls. The system further focuses on speed and trouble-free operation, as it has been in previous years. If you're still not sure if you're upgrading, read the review we've prepared for you after three months of beta testing.

All the news that iOS 14 brings

iOS 14 updates the basic functions of the iPhone. We redesigned the widgets, which you can now find right on your desktop. The application library offers you a new way to automatically organize your applications. Phone calls and Siri got a new compact look. You can pin conversations in Messages and group improvements in Memoji. Maps provide navigation for cyclists and make it easier to find new favorite places with guides. With app clips, you'll discover small parts of apps and be able to use them right away. With new security features, you can better understand the handling of user data and have more control over how applications use your location, photos, microphone, and camera.

How to install iOS 14

You can easily install the new operating system on your iPhone, iPad or iPod. You can find the update in the classic place in Settings – General – Software update, where you just agree to everything and your device starts downloading the update. However, as we have pointed out several times in recent days, the download speed can be really lousy even a few hours after the update is released. Apple's servers will be extremely busy tonight, which will of course affect their speed. Of course, it is also possible to install the update via a computer, where after connecting to iTunes, the update will either pop up itself or the software will offer it to you after selecting the Check for updates option. Even in this case, of course, no dizzying speed can be expected.

It is also necessary to realize that we will not all receive the update at exactly 7 pm. It will appear on the devices gradually after 7 pm. Therefore, it is necessary to wait a while.
