Bitwarden and Android 11: Beta version with support for the Autofill API
The open source password manager Bitwarden has gained many users over the past two years and has increased its level of awareness. Nice software that we have often reported about when there were interesting innovations. Android 11 users – there are probably not that many – can now try out the keyboard integration of the Autofill API, provided they are willing to use Bitwarden's Android client as a beta version. This not only requires the Bitwarden app in beta, but also a keyboard app that supports the inline autofill API. However, users with Google's Gboard are well positioned.
