Complete Meizu 17 specifications surfaced online
The official introduction of the new Meizu 17 flag series is scheduled to take place early April 15, and the phone has reportedly appeared in Antut's benchmark results. The Chinese company will try to get back in favor of the fans because they have lost much of their market position in the last few years. And according to the published parameters and prices today, they might even succeed, because the new model looks very competitive. Now just fine-tune the unfortunate Flyme OS along with international support and everything will be pink again. How simple.
According to the published parameters, however, Meizu decided on the standard version of the phone to slightly cut the cost using only LPDDR4X memory instead of modern LPDDR5. This is of course unpleasant, but on the other hand, it is rather a small hitch, because a lot of current flag models including giants such as Huawei P40, BlackShark 3 or Oppo Find X2 still remained with LPDDR4X. There should be more than enough performance.
Meizu has also abandoned its symmetrical design on the front of the phone, providing a modern “bullet-through” display in the upper right corner. The display itself will be 6.5-inch and will be AMOLED with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Also other features are very good and include a Snapdragon 865 processor with 5G support, UFS 3.0 internal memory, 4500 mAh battery capacity with 30W fast-charging, or four rear camera sensors – 64 Mpix + 8 Mpix + 5 Mpix +2 Mpix. All that remains to be done is to add some details such as selfie camera resolution, possibly the presence of an NFC chip and a few others.
The price is set reasonably well and the basic 8GB + 128GB Meizu 17 comes only at 3999 yuan (about $ 567). It has the mentioned LPDDR4X memories. For a better 8GB + 256GB, the customer pays for 4299 yuan (about $ 609), or for 12GB + 256GB for 4699 yuan (about $ 666). That doesn't sound so bad.
