Helio G70 chip announced for Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 smartphone
MediaTek has introduced a new mobile processor. It's called the Helio G70 and is aimed at mid-range smartphones. The chipset includes two powerful ARM Cortex-A75 cores up to 2.0GHz and six energy efficient ARM Cortex-A55s up to 1.7GHz.
The ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 Graphics Accelerator with a maximum frequency of 0.82 Hz supports screen resolutions up to 2520 × 1080. HyperEngine's development is responsible for performance gains and reduced power consumption.
The Helio G70 supports single-module cameras up to 48MP or dual 16MP + 16MP modules. MediaTek Helio G70 smartphones will feature face recognition technology on smartphones.
Also claimed is support for 4G, 5GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0, FM radio, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo. In addition, on smartphones based on the new single crystal system from MediaTek, we can see the LPDDR4x memory with a maximum capacity of 8 GB. The debut of the Helio G70 is expected in the Xiaomi Redmi 9.
