How to add contacts to WhatsApp on iPhone

If you want to add a new contact on your iPhone or iPad as part of the WhatsApp app without having to add it in the Contacts app, follow these steps:

Open the WhatsApp app on your iOS or iPadOS device.

Now it is necessary to move to the Cottages section in the bottom menu.

Once you are here, click on the new message icon (pencil square) at the top right.
Once you've done so, tap New Contact at the top.

You will now find yourself on the screen where you must fill in your name, surname, telephone number and other details.

Once you've completed everything, all you have to do is click the Save button at the top right.

Finally, the newly created contact will be displayed and you just need to click Finish in the upper left.

If the person you added to WhatsApp using the above procedure doesn't use WhatsApp yet, you can click Recommend WhatsApp in the last step. If you click this option, an invitation will be sent to start using WhatsApp. Unfortunately, nowadays there is such a small problem that everyone prefers a different chat application – and in the end it is necessary that everyone has all the chat applications.
