KeePassXC 2.6.3: New version of free password manager released

KeePass versions 1 and 2 recently received an update. Now the makers of KeePassXC are stepping up. The password manager is a fork of KeePassX, which is provided for Linux, macOS and Windows, supports KeePass databases and encrypts them with AES and a 256-bit key. The free password manager was released in version 2.6.3. The update includes support for new KeePass-2 functions intended to increase the security of the database: XML key file version 2 and Argon2id. The new XML key file makes it easier to print the key file for storage and recovery. In addition to these improvements, this update contains better support for CSV import / export, protection against being read from the history of the Windows 10 clipboard, macOS Big Sur icon styling and improvements to the user interface.
