LuLu: Version 2.1.0 of the open source firewall for macOS released
The macOS system has a firewall that is supposed to protect the system against incoming attacks. A firewall can occasionally block outgoing connections. On the macOS platform, many people will know it: Little Snitch. An alternative could be LuLu from security expert Patrick Wardle. He offers his solution free of charge and has also made the code available as open source. Version 2.1.0 has now been released. With version 2.0.0, which appeared at the end of last year, the app became fully compatible with macOS Big Sur, the update to the new version 2.1.0 should then provide a little more performance on Macs with an M1 chip, because now it is to have a native version of LuLu for users.
