OPPO sued by Sharp for patent infringement
Sharp VS OPPO, accused of patent infringement in Taiwan
The press release issued by Sharp underlines that its intellectual property is one of the main resources for its own business development, with a portfolio of patents dedicated to the wireless communication standard that includes over 6,000 of these, in more than 50 countries. For this reason, the company decided to sue OPPO on April 1, precisely because of a violation of patents relating to LTE technology.
At the moment everything is still in the initial phase and this information comes directly from the Sharp portal, which you can also find in the source. For now, it is not known what the models are nor is it possible to establish precisely what the damage caused by OPPO would be. Obviously everything will be verified by the competent authorities and in the meantime we will keep you updated if news or a response from the Chinese company arrives.
Meanwhile, the company is preparing for the debut of Ace 2 (set for April 13), a device that will lead the way for a new range. Obviously the launch is reserved for China, but luckily it seems that news for us Europeans could also arrive with Find X2 Lite, anticipated by Roland Quandt.
