Password manager: Dashlane launches family tariff
There are numerous password managers. From paid to free, everything is included – whether with the cloud or without. We have already presented and discussed numerous solutions here in the blog. Including Dashlane, a service similar to LastPass. Passwords are stored encrypted in the cloud, you have access to your passwords via apps. You don't have to explain big.
Dashlane is free for "small" device use, but is otherwise subject to a charge – and now also offers a family rate. With the "Premium Family" offer, groups and families can jointly manage their privacy on the Internet, with each member having an individual user account for an unlimited number of devices.
The Premium Family tariff offers, among other things, unlimited storage of passwords on any number of devices, dark web monitoring and personalized security warnings as well as a virtual private network (VPN). As part of the family plan, the account administrator also receives a family dashboard that can be used to add or remove members from the group. 6 people can be in the family, it costs 60 euros a year with annual payment – 5 euros a month.
Note: I tried almost everything and use 1Password in the family tariff. If I didn't use 1Password, Enpass or Bitwarden would probably be my choice. At Enpass I am a pro user, so I don't have to pay the subscription, at Bitwarden I would level up because I want TOTP support.
