The Huawei P40 Pro is officially launched
Today, together with the Huawei P40, the Chinese company announced the Pro version. You can read about the standard edition here, and in this note we will focus on the main chips of the Huawei P40 Pro.
The smartphone is equipped with a 6.58-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a resolution of 1200 x 2614 pixels. The selfie camera is the same as in the standard edition. One of the features of the model is that the area of the fingerprint scanner, according to the manufacturer, has increased by 30%.
The main camera has a resolution of 40 megapixels + 50 megapixels + 12 megapixels. The 12MP telephoto lens has a periscope structure. The optical zoom ratio is 5x. The 40-megapixel matrix is coupled to wide-angle optics. Video smartphone can record in 4K UHD at 60 fps.
The heart of the model is also the Kirin 990 5G chip. The capacity of the battery is 4200 mAh. The novelty will be the world's first smartphone to be purchased, with support for 40W wireless charging.
The amount of RAM and permanent memory is not specified. The case has IP68 water and dust protection. The Android 10 operating system has an EMUI shell and an AppGallery branded store. Google services, of course, are gone.
The cost and launch date of the Huawei P40 Pro will be announced shortly. Buyers will be offered the new flagship in five colors: white, black, silver, gold and blue.
